- इंटर्नशिप एक छात्र के लिए एक योग्य और अनुभवी पर्यवेक्षक/संरक्षक के मार्गदर्शन में प्रत्यक्ष और व्यावहारिक कार्य अनुभव प्राप्त करने का अवसर है।
- इसका उद्देश्य प्रयोग के माध्यम से सीखने की प्रक्रिया में सक्रिय भागीदारी करना और कक्षाओं में अर्जित ज्ञान को व्यवहार में लाना भी है। राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान केंद्र (एनआईसी) केंद्र, राज्यों, जिलों और ब्लॉकों में सरकारी मंत्रालयों/विभागों में ई-गवर्नेंस/ई-गवर्नेंस अनुप्रयोगों को संचालित करने, सरकारी सेवाओं में सुधार, व्यापक पारदर्शिता, विकेंद्रीकृत योजना और प्रबंधन को बढ़ावा देने में सहायक रहा है
- जिसके परिणामस्वरूप भारत के लोगों के लिए बेहतर दक्षता और जवाबदेही है। सामाजिक एवं लोक प्रशासन में आईसीटी अनुप्रयोगों को लागू करके प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए सरकार के “सूचना-आधारित विकास” कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व एनआईसी द्वारा किया गया है। एनआईसी ने केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों के साथ घनिष्ठ सहयोग में कई राष्ट्रव्यापी ई-गवर्नेंस परियोजनाओं को लागू किया है जैसे कि पीएफएमएस, ई-हॉस्पिटल, वाहन, सारथी, ई-ऑफिस, ई-प्रिजन्स, सर्विसप्लस आदि (www.nic.in) जो कई अन्य देशों में भी लागू हैं।
- छात्र समुदाय के व्यापक लाभ के लिए और अपनी विभिन्न योजनाओं/कार्यक्रमों/परियोजनाओं के प्रबंधन/कार्यान्वयन को समृद्ध करने के उद्देश्य से, एनआईसी ने इन “इंटर्नशिप दिशानिर्देशों” को अधिसूचित किया है, ताकि एनआईसी, मुख्यालय, नई दिल्ली में दो महीने की सीमित अवधि के लिए इंटर्न की नियुक्ति के लिए एक रूपरेखा प्रदान की जा सके।
- इस सत्र में इंटर्नशिप/प्रशिक्षण करने वाले छात्रों को उत्पादों, वेबसाइट, ऐप आदि के यूआई/यूएक्स के लिए टेम्पलेट्स बनाने में व्यावहारिक अनुभव प्राप्त होगा।
