Sonu Nigam’s advice on Boycott Bollywood trend, ‘Keep your head down and move forward’; Gave such a reaction on ‘Pathan’
Sonu Nigam was one of those lucky people who got a chance to interact with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on 5 January.
He spoke on the Boycott Bollywood trend in the presence of personalities like Subhash Ghai, Boney Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav and Ravi Kishan. Let us tell you that CM Yogi Adityanath had reached Mumbai to promote Uttar Pradesh as the ‘most favorable state for films’.
Sonu Nigam said in a critical tone that why should I speak to useless people. What is the use of talking to people who do not understand what I want to say. Everyone should keep their heads down and move forward. Artists and people on social media should do the same.
Sonu refused to comment on ‘Pathan’, which is going to release on January 25.
The controversy about the film ‘Pathan’ started when its first song ‘Besharam Rang’ was released. Most people liked the song, but many politicians, including Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra, objected to the clothes worn by Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
When 49-year-old Sonu Nigam was asked whether he believed that Uttar Pradesh would take over the film industry, he said, “My family is from UP. Now there is an atmosphere of security and peace.
It is good that a film industry will open there, but Mumbai is the mother of all. It teaches you work culture, teaches you to struggle. Maharashtra will not be affected by the formation of a film city in UP.
